Mini 2010 ROUSH 427R Mustang Review: David Ray

First, I have to clear my conscience here. I LOVED the ‘69 and ‘70 Mustang fastbacks. And at my ripe old age, owning one is on my bucket list. Thanks to Ford for taking me back to the past to move into the future with its current, very good 2010 Mustang. The evolutionary changes in the 2010 body style make me want to hop in and head down to the drive in. From an engineering standpoint, the changes are evolutionary as well. But just like humans evolving to bipeds, the changes are for the better. With the base Mustang GT being very good, this little outfit called ROUSH® Performance has gotten hold of these cars and made them great.

Jack Roush Jr. Blog: A Second Place Finish with Two Races to Go (Modified Mustangs & Fords)

It’s now deep into August and the 2009 season is coming down to the wire. My team, the No. 61 ROUSH/Valvoline Mustang just finished second in the KONI Challenge race at Trois-Rivieres, Quebec. This was the 40th year of Grand-Prix here. For those of you who haven’t ever been to Trois-Rivieres, it’s a great city, about an hour-and-a-half northeast of Montreal. I’m especially impressed at how many people are into motorsports there. One cool thing to see was how many people driving around town here had modified Mustangs. There were quite a few Mustangs on the street, and it was hard to find one that didn’t at least have some appearance customizations made to it.

2010 ROUSH Mustang 427R – Red Octane (5.0 Mustang & Super Fords)

“Roush and fast go hand in hand, but usually when it comes to the race track. In this case, that speed and a close working relationship with Ford delivered the first tuner ’10 Mustang to dealer lots right on top of the arrival of the ’10 Mustang GTs.”

“The Best Round-Up Ever”

This was just one of the many accolades attributed to the 6th annual ROEA Michigan Round-Up held this year in Livonia August 12-16. Organized by Gary Burdell, ROEA Co-director Northeast Division, ROEA members from Canada and the United States gathered together for a fun-filled and exciting event packed with several extra surprises. Propane-Powered Truck Takes the Road to Farm Country (Agriculture Online)

“A propane burning pick-up truck is going on tour this fall to promote an energy source that its promoters believe will help farmers and ranchers make major savings in fuel costs.
“The new propane-fueled Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks were developed by Roush Performance with funding from the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC). A Roush propane-fueled Ford F-250 truck will tour the Midwest for two weeks late this summer, stopping at a number of farm shows and sporting events.”
