“Jack Roush is co-owner of a NASCAR racing team and sells aftermarket car parts and crate motors through his Michigan-based ROUSH Performance. His company also modifies Mustangs sold through a network of Ford dealers, including several in this area.

“Think about that for a second. Roush takes new 5.0 Mustangs that come from the factory with a 412 horsepower V-8 and bolts a supercharger to the already-potent engine, puts an exhaust system in back that will rattle a cop car’s bulletproof windows and then seriously tightens a good suspension.

“Why? Because he can.”
