This Ford Mustang Exhaust (Legal) will increase the sound, fuel efficiency, and power of your 2005-2009 Mustang. The sound of this system generates a louder, throaty-sound.
The mandrel bending process used for the tubes of this system maintains a consistent inside diameter through the bended area. This method allows for a significant increase in flow over stock/serrated-bent pipes. Due to this increased efficiency, both latent power and fuel efficiency are realized.
This Mustang Exhaust Kit is made of T-304 stainless steel, providing for resistance to corrosion and staining.
The system features exhaust tips, mufflers, and required hardware for installation. The exhaust tips of this system fit (and require) the ROUSH Rear Fascia for 2005-2009 Mustangs (part #401271). This bolt-on axle-back exhaust system attaches to the factory midpipes and requires no cutting.
This is ROUSH's "Legal" exhaust kit for 2005-2009 Mustangs, keeping sound levels to legally required limits for production vehicles. For a louder and higher performance exhaust system, an "Off-Road" exhaust system (part #401339) is also available. If you already have the "legal" ROUSH exhaust system on your car, you can upgrade to the "off-road" mufflers with part #401340.
