You’ve spent the time getting your engine ready for a show. Now take the final step in showcasing your engine by adding/installing a set of ROUSH Mustang Hood Struts to your 2005-2014 Mustang.
These Mustang gas-charged hood struts eliminate the need for the factory hood-prop rod and lift the hood to a greater angle allowing easier view on the entire engine compartment and allowing more light to shine in to showcase your pride-and-joy, the Mustang engine.
ROUSH hood struts use the factory OEM attachment points and no drilling required. The kit contains black e-coated stainless steel brackets with the ROUSH logo laser cut into the brackets and heavy duty gas-charged struts.
These ROUSH Mustang hood struts fit all 2005-2014 Mustangs including the GT, V6, ROUSH, GT500, Shelby, Boss, Bullitt, Saleen, and SMS. These gas-charged struts are designed and engineered to work with the factory hood design and weight. Using these struts with any other type of hood may produce bowing or may put too much of a load on the struts and they may not provide sufficient support to keep the hood in the upright position.

Awesome upgrade, easy install!

These Roush hood struts were really easy to install and they look great when I am showing off my car at car shows. Its nice to not have to use the prop rod to keep my hood up. I even painted mine torch red to match my car. Great upgrade for the price.

The install was pretty easy except i got confused on the sound tube part, the written manual solved it for me. The passenger side gave me a good fight and didnt want to go in. Overall easy install and i love the design, specially the holes to relocate the factory washer nozzle is pretty genius. Couldn't be happier.

Ordered the Roush hood struts for my 2012 Stage 2 Roush. I had my local Ford Roush dealership install them and i was very pleased with the look. They lift the hood higher and add a custon look at the same time. Worth the price!

These struts are a great addition to the car! They look great and even came with detailed instructions. Thanks for the instructions/video! FYI to future buyers, this is a two person install (as stated in instructions).
