Roush Focus Performance Test Results

The Roush Performance engineering team recently completed tests of production components on the Roush Focus.  Dyno testing was performed on two cars (a 2003 2.0L Zetec and 2004 2.3L Duratec) before and after installation of Roush exhaust.  Slalom and skidpad testing was performed on a Roush Focus with Stage 2 suspension.

Suspension Specifications:

600 ft. Slalom Test: 69.10 mph
Skidpad Test: .90 g

These numbers make the Roush suspension kit the best handling Focus suspension on the market.

These results are from the Roush chassis dyno, measuring HP and torque at the front wheel.  On the 2003 2.0L Zetec, measurements were taken with stock exhaust, 2.0L exhaust (R12000003), and 2.0L Off-Road exhaust (R12000002).  The 2.3L Duratec was tested with stock exhaust and 2.3L exhaust (R12000002).

Decibel measurements were also measured on the exhaust kits.  The average noise level of the 2.0L is 84 dB with the 2.0L exhaust, and 88 db with the Off-Road exhaust.  The average noise level of the 2.3L exhaust is 83 dB.
