Livonia, MI – Roush Performance is a title sponsor for the 40 th Anniversary of the Mustang Club of America (MCA) celebration in Nashville, Tennessee on April 15 th – April 18th.
"For me, it has always been about the Mustang," said Jack Roush in regard to the club’s milestone.
As a part of the event’s opening ceremonies on Thursday, April 15th, Jack Roush is scheduled to fly over the crowd in "Old Crow" his P-51 Mustang Airplane. Following the flyover, Jack Roush will appear at the Roush Performance display for an autograph session with the Roush Owner’s and Enthusiasts’ Association (ROEA) and event attendees. The autograph session will conclude at noon.
"We could think of no better way to kick off this celebration than with Jack Roush in his P-51 Mustang. Jack has done so much for the Mustang world with his creation of the Roush Mustangs. We’re honored to have him as a part of this event," said Jim Chism, Executive Director of the MCA.
The MCA 40th Anniversary is being held at Nashville Speedway in Lebanon, TN.
Following the opening ceremonies, Roush Performance will have a major display exhibiting their Roush Mustangs, Roush Performance Engines, Performance Parts and their new Roush apparel trailer. Roush Merchandise will be available for purchase at the event.
Other Roush event activities include: An ROEA luncheon with Roush Performance President, Larry Parker and, Vehicle Marketing Manager, Joe Thompson on Saturday; as well as, a feature vehicle in the celebrity race in which Parker will drive.
