Veterans in the drivers seat with ROUSH at the Triumph Games

ROUSH Performance recently participated in the Triumph Games – a competition wherein wounded veterans compete in a number of various events including a triathlon, a virtual reality/simulation challenge, and a timed motorsports competition. A total of twelve wounded veterans took on the challenge, and ROUSH was there to provide two Stage 2 Mustangs with help from Tindol Ford. The Mustangs were modified with special controls so they could be easily driven by wounded veterans.

“Although each participant was very competitive, there was a comradery that held them together and they all helped each other perform the best that they could,” says Jack Roush Jr. “The point of the competition is not to see what individual will win, but rather to celebrate the veterans' striving for excellence in spite of their disabilities.”

The show was captured by Al Roker's production company and will air on NBC Sports on October 17th.
