The 2017 ROUSHcharged Mustang: Everything You Need to Know

For years, ROUSH Performance has created Mustangs designated by “Stages” in accordance with power levels. For the 2017 model year line-up, ROUSH has made available a V6-powered RS, EcoBoost I-4 Stage 1, naturally-aspirated V8 Stage 2, and the ROUSHcharged 5.0L Stage 3. For the first time ever, for the 2017 model year, ROUSH is offering the new low-content high-value ROUSHcharged Mustang.

The ROUSHcharged Mustang was created with the ultimate personalization opportunist in mind. The vehicle is built on a 5.0L V8 Mustang GT and equipped with the 670-horsepower ROUSH 2.3L Eaton TVS Supercharger. Backing the power up are heavy-duty half shafts to promise peace of mind when putting a large amount of power to the rear wheels. A ROUSH Rear Blackout Panel is an aggressive, yet understated, addition to the Mustang, and two ROUSH badges announce its heritage. ROUSH engine bay and dash plaques prove authenticity.

The 2017 ROUSHcharged Mustang can be built from any of the 5.0L Mustang GT configurations, (GT, GT Premium, equipment groups 300A, 400A, etc.), as well as any of the Mustang’s optional appearance and performance packages. ROUSH recommends the GT Performance Package for its upgraded chassis, cooling, braking, and tires.

The 2017 ROUSHcharged Mustang comes complete with a full ROUSH 3-year/36,000-mile transferrable warranty. This package offers the most value, with the highest horsepower-to-weight ratio package from any manufacturer on the market, and is a great base for customization for show or track – or even for leaving as a sleeper to surprise any competition unlucky enough to line up next to it.

Like the idea of adding ROUSH body components or an exhaust? Upgrade your package, and let us build your ideal ROUSHcharged Mustang.
