ROUSH Performance and Ford performance have developed this industry-leading calibrated supercharger system. Boosting performance to 650 horsepower for the 2018-2019 Ford F-150 5.0L V8, the ROUSH 2.65L Phase 1 Calibrated Supercharger Kit is part of the TVS (Twin Vortices Series) line of superchargers developed by ROUSH Performance, raising the bar for performance and reliability. Eaton’s TVS technology rotating assembly delivers more power and better fuel economy in a highly-engineered package, and is part of the same line that has been used and proven for years in ROUSH-built Ford Mustangs.
The ROUSH R2650 TVS supercharger is a roots-type positive displacement supercharger that features twin four-lobe rotors that are twisted 170-degrees. By comparison, the original Eaton supercharger rotating assembly featured three lobes twisted 60-degrees. The fourth lobe and the added twist, provides a long list of benefits including: greatly enhanced thermal efficiency, higher volumetric capacity, higher operating speeds, a smoother, more efficient flow of air into the engine, and improved noise and vibration characteristics. Unlike turbocharging, the ROUSH R2650 TVS supercharger provides instant throttle response and can generate increased power through the engine's entire power band.
Nice but I expected more. It handles low speed and driving around at low to moderate speed nicely. Quality appears great. Very little supercharger noise. It's fast but not as much as I expected. I traded a 2014 GT with minor bolt ons. This does not appear as quick, though I have no time slips yet. The Roush tune as installed does not appear to remove the speed limiter. Overall a great product. just somewhat disappointing in speed for this vehicle. This is on a 10 spd auto. In fairness, former vehicles have been manuals. Flying low was a tactic we used in avoiding ground fire on recon missions. Get fast and low was quite the speed sensation. My Lightning Tribute f150 Rouch supercharged truck feels almost the same plus it's a excellent antidepressant with no drugs involved and free of charge!

So far this thing performs really well, just took it on a 200mile trip, averaged 19mpg (on dash) with my crewcab STX (4x4, 6.5’ bed, 3.31 gears) Dyno 500/502, believe they dyno mid day in humid mid 80s temp. Expected to see higher dyno numbers, Even though, it has a completely different feel! (Posted on 8/6/2018)
