It goes without saying that Jack Roush has achieved an incredible racing history, and it all began with his engine shop.  Jack raced not for the sake of racing, but to showcase how well his engines performed.  

This is the very same race engine shop that Jack founded in 1976.  Since that time, the group produced the engines with which Jack built his exceptional racing legacy across multiple racing disciplines.  In the 1970s, he won numerous championships in AHRA, NHRA, and IHRA Pro Stock drag racing.  In the 1980s and 90s, he went on to road racing, where he secured an impressive tally of 24 national champions and titles, with staggering record of 119 road racing victories.  Jack took his competitive sights even further in 1988, forming his own NASCAR team, where the Roush Competition Engine group supplied engines up until 2003, at which point Jack joined forces with Robert Yates to form Roush Yates Engines to supply engines for multiple Ford teams within NASCAR.
